Istiklol FC is Now the Eighth-Time Winner of Tajikistan’s Super Cup
DUSHANBE, 01.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Istiklol FC beat Khujand FC with the score of 3:0 in the match for Tajikistan’s Super Cup 2019 and became an eight-time holder of the trophy.
The Super Cup was held on Friday at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe and gathered more than 7,000 fans. Istiklol’s goals were scored by the Armenian legionnaire Ruslan Koryan and Shahrom Samiev, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
Istiklol was the recipient of the Super Cup also in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.
Istiklol FC and Khujand FC will meet again in Dushanbe within the first round of the AFC Cup 2019 group stage this Wednesday at 19:00 local time.
