Khujand FC Defeated Istiklol FC in AFC Cup Match
DUSHANBE, 20.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The vice-champion of Tajikistan Khujand FC defeated the county’s champion Istiklol FC with the score of 3:2 during the fifth round of the AGC Cup 2019 group stage in the central zone in Group D.
After beating Istiklol FC and having scored three points, Khujand is now caught up with Istiklol, with both clubs having accumulated 7 points each, reported Khujand FC on its website.
It ramains uncertain whether Istiklol will exit the group. Everything will be decided next Wednesday in Dushanbe.
Altin Asyr now leads the group with 9 points, with Dodroi last, having accumulated only 4 points.
Khujand FC’s next macth in the AFC Cup 2019 will be against Dordoi FC, which will be held on June 26 in Bishkek.
