DUSHANBE, 10.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The head coach of the Tajik national football team Usmon Toshev and the team’s midfielder Parvizjon Umarboev shared their expectations from the upcoming World Cup 2022 qualifying match against Mongolia, which will be held today in Ulaanbaatar.

“First of all, I want to congratulate all the Tajik people with the holiday —  Independence Day. I wish peace and prosperity to all Tajiks! As for the upcoming qualifying match against Mongolia, we are seriously preparing for it. We were warmly welcomed in Ulaanbaatar, the weather is good here. I know the Mongolian people and football in this country well,” said Tohsev.

“The Mongolian team, like us, started the qualifying tournament with a victory. We studied the match Mongolia — Myanmar. The Mongolian team is a good team. An interesting match awaits us. We arrived in Ulaanbaatar for three points,” added Toshev.

“I also want to congratulate all Tajiks with Independence Day! All the guys are in a good mood. The mood for the match is combat. We will do our best to please our people with a victory over the Mongolian team. We analyzed the opponent’s game. Mongolia is a strong team. The game will not be easy,” noted the team’s midfielder Umarboev.
