Germany Allocates €9 Million for Improving Medical Services in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 19.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The German Development Bank will allocate £ 9 million for Tajikistan for the improvement of health services.
A corresponding financial agreement was signed yesterday in Dushanbe between the German Development Bank and the government of Tajikistan for the Maternal and Child Health and First Aid, Phase VI program.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and the head of the Office of the German Development Bank in Tajikistan Andreas Schneider.
The signing of this agreement can help improve the care of mother and child and improve the quality of the ambulance.
The funds allocated for the implementation of the program will be used for the construction and reconstruction, acquisition of medical and non-medical equipment for the neonatology and maternity wards of the National Research Institute of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
The signed agreement was developed on the basis of the Agreement between the governments of Tajikistan and Germany on financial cooperation for 2016-2017.
