Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports Will Award Best Athletes of 2019
DUSHANBE, 21.11.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the government of Tajikistan will be holding a contest to determine the best Tajik athletes in 2019.
The contest includes nominations of Best Athlete in 2019, Best Sports Team, Best Coach, Best Sports School, Best Sports Federation (by Olympic and non-Olympic types), Best Sports Referee, Best Sports Venue, Best Sports City or District, Best Sports Media and Best Sports Commentator.
The contest’s aim is to promote sports, encourage participation, honor the achievements of athletes and their coaches, and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
The contest’s results will be announced at the end of this year. The finalists will be awarded by the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports.
The Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports, as a competent state body in the implementation of the country’s sports policy, annually holds such contests with the participation of a wide range of athletes and sports officials.
