Tajik U-23 Girls Defeats Their Turkmen Peers
DUSHANBE, 27.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik women’s Olympic team (U-23) beat Turkmenistan at the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship.
The match was held at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe and ended with a score of 2-0. This the team’s second victory in the championship, reports the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
In another matches, Uzbek and Kyrgyz teams defeated their rivals Iran and Afghanistan with the same score of 3-0.
At this point, Uzbekistan leads with 12 points. Iran with 9 points ranks second and Tajikistan with 7 points is in third place.
The final round will held tomorrow between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, as well as Iran and Afghanistan.
