Chairman of the Tax Committee Meets With the Head of TADAT Group
DUSHANBE, 17.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of the Tax Committee under the government of Tajikistan Nusratullo Davlatzoda met with the head of the Group of the Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool (TADAT) Sultan Munaver to discuss the main areas of tax administration efficiency.
TADAT is a global tool that can be used by any country to assess the relative strengths and weaknesses of their tax administration system.
TADAT focuses on the administration of major direct and indirect taxes that are key to budget revenues.
TADAT evaluates the effectiveness of the national tax administration in accordance with nine areas of performance: the integrity of the database of registered taxpayers, effective risk management, facilitating voluntary compliance, timely tax returns, timely tax payments, reliable tax returns, effective resolution of tax disputes, effective management revenue, accountability and transparency.
This assessment of the effectiveness of the national tax authority, the strengths and weaknesses of the tax administration system has already passed many countries of the world, such as Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and others.
The Tax Committee will continue to provide information on the progress of the TADAT assessment.
