Tajik Athletes Win Three Medals at the International Boxing Tournament
DUSHANBE, 13.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes won 2 silver and a bronze medal at the International Junior Boxing Tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
“The tournament was held in 15 weight categories from January 6 through January 10. About 200 junior athletes from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia took part in it,” reports the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
Junior Tajik athletes Alisher Saidov (44 kg) and Abubakr Murodov (54 kg) won silver medals, while Nurlanbek Yormatov took the bronze among athletes weighing up to 63 kg.
