Japan Implements 5 New Projects in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 04.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the signing ceremony for five new projects took place at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Dushanbe.
The grant contracts were signed by the Japanese Ambassador Miyashita Takayuki and the representatives of the recipient organizations. The total grant of Japanese government for the projects amounts to $370,035.
The five new projects are:
— The Project for Construction of Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities in Khujand for the amount of $88,515.
— The Project for the Improvement of Drinking Water System in Loiq Sherali jamoat of Panjakent for the amount of $90,846.
— The Project for the Construction of a New Building for thr Children Infectious Diseases Department of the Central Hospital in Sangvor district for the amount of $90,802.
— The Project for the Improvement of Medical Equipment of the Infection Hospital in Dushanbe for the amount of $89,820.
— The Project for the Upgrading of Equipment of Regional Service Center for the Elderly and People with Disabilities in Istaravshan for the amount of $10,052.
During the ceremony, Takayuki made a remark that Japan’s GGP projects have been able to contribute to the sustainable development of Tajikistan through various projects implemented all across the country and these projects in particular will contribute to creating a better environment for the vulnerable people in the remote areas.
