Tajik Farmers Can Soon Get Their Hands on the New Belarusian Designed Tractors
DUSHANBE, 28.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The new Belarusian tractors will soon be put into work in Tajikistan. Their production was launched at the Hissor tractor factory, which opened two years ago with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon and Alexander Lukashenko.
Engineers are certain that the new universal agricultural machine will prove indispensable for farmers, says correspondent of MIR 24 channel Abubakr FAyzulloev.
“This tractor has no competitors. The machine is very maneuverable, it has more horsepower and weighs less than the rest, and it can be used not only in agriculture, but also in other industries where transport with increased cross-country ability is required,” said the factory’s engineer Bahodur Rahmonov.
MTZ 892 has a comfortable cabin with a spring seat and panoramic 360-degree view. Another important feature of the tractor is its excellent engine performance at high temperatures. For Tajikistan, where the summer is hot for six months out of the year, this is a big advantage.
“This model may not look very different from the one we are used to, but it represents a new step in the engineering solutions and agricultural technologies,” said Belarussian Ambassador to Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov.
In addition to tractors, the factory began production of trailers. They are made mainly of iron mined in the republic. Big plans ahead.
“Our annual program for the total number of agricultural equipment and tractors is 1,700 sets per year. To date, we have already collected more than forty tractors, and it is planned that by the end of the year we will assemble two hundred more tractors,” said factory’s director Jaloliddin Nuraliev.
New tractors will be sold not only in Tajikistan, but also abroad. They will be exported to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Great interest in these machines has already been shown in Afghanistan.
