Junior and Youth Football Teams’ Rivals at Asian Championships 2020 Will Be Declared in Mid June
DUSHANBE, 04.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The draw for Asian Championships 2020 will be held on June 18 at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Kuala Lumpur.
The draw for U-16 teams will begin at 17:30 Dushanbe time, and for U-19 teams will start at 19:30.
Tajik U-16 team is in the first basket with the teams of Bahrain, Japan and South Korea. This means that our team will definitely not play with these teams in the group stage. According to the AFC calendar, the Asian U-16 Championship 2020 will be held from September 16 through October 3 in Bahrain.
Tajik U-19 team was seeded in the second basket during the draw along with Japan, Australia and Indonesia.
The Asian U-19 Championship 2020 will be held from October 14 through October 31 in Uzbekistan.
The four best U-16 and U-19 teams of Asia will be able to play in the World Cup 2021, which will be held in Peru (U-17) and Indonesia (U-20).
