Gardeners of Asht District Exported 2720 Tons of Fresh Fruits
KHUJAND, 15.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Asht district exported 2720 tons of fresh fruits to Russia.
Of those exported fruits, 2687 tonnes are apricots and 33 tonnes are cherries and plums. Another five trucks with fruits will also be exported soon.
About 20 tonnes of fresh fruits are delivered to the markets of cities and districts of Sughd region on a daily basis. Totally, by June 15, about 500 tonnes of fruits have already sold, of which 453 tonnes are apricots.
The district’s gardeners have extensive experience in growing various fruits, in particular apricots.
