DUSHANBE, 17.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, a session of the Assembly of Representatives’ was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda.

The session focused on the issues relating to the loan agreement between Tajikistan and the OPEC Fund for International Development, the Regional Economic Cooperation in Central Asia project, corridors 2, 3 and 5 (Obi Garm-Nurobod highway), the grant agreement between Tajikistan, passenger transport state enterprise of Khujand and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on project development of public transport in Khujand, financing agreement (Financial Rehabilitation Program of Energy Enterprise) between Tajikistan and the International Development Association, the draft law on Combating Corruption, the grant agreement between the Tajik government and JICA on improvement of medical equipment in Shifobakhsh National Medical Center and Republican Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, the exchange of notes between the Tajik and Japanese governments on the improvement of medical equipment in Shifobakhsh National Medical Center and Republican Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, and the agreement between the Tajik and French governments on air traffic.

Minister of Finance Fayziddin Qahhorzoda, Minister of Energy and Water Resources Usmonali Usmonzoda, Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management Farrukh Hamralizoda, Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight Against Corruption Sulaymon Sultonzoda, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency Ikrom Subhonzoda, First Deputy Minister of Health Ghafur Muhsinzoda, Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives Committee for Law and Order, Defense and Security Rustam Shohmurod, Assembly’s Deputies Nematullo Kholboyzoda, Bakhtiyor Ahmadzoda, Rustam Kudratov, Gulbahor Naziri, Gulbahor Ashurzoda, and Abduhalim Ghaffori made specific proposals on the agenda issues.

Following the session, appropriate decisions were made on all issues.
