Tajik and Uzbek Football Teams Will Play Friendly Match in Tashkent
DUSHANBE, 24.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik and Uzbek football federations agreed to hold a friendly match between the two national teams.
The match will take place on September 4 at the Milliy stadium in Tashkent.
This match was scheduled to be held on March 31 in Tashkent, however, it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two teams have already played with each other eight times. The Tajik team has one victory. Three matches ended in a draw and four other matches were won by the Uzbek team.
The last time Tajik and Uzbek teams played was 9 years ago, on November 15, 2011 in Tashkent.
