DUSHANBE, 14.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Per President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali’s initiative,  sports uniforms were presented to the athletes of Khorog in honor of Athletes’ Day.

Sports schools specializing in football, volleyball, basketball, boxing and judo were presented with sets of sportswear, football and volleyball balls, as well as kimonos.

“Thanks to the FFT support, several football pitches with artificial turf have been built in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous region (GBAO). In addition to football, we are actively promoting volleyball, basketball, boxing and wrestling. There are many athletes in our area that we are proud of. They perform in international sports arenas and achieve brilliant victories,» said the head of the GBAO youth and sports sector, while thanking Emomali.
