Football Team Departs to Tashkent for a Friendly Match Against Uzbekistan

DUSHANBE, 01.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – This morning, the national football team of Tajikistan left Dushanbe for Khujand by bus, from where they will travel to Tashkent for a friendly match against their Uzbek rivals.
Before leaving for Tashkent, all members of the team’s delegation took coronavirus tests, with negative results. Upon arrival in Tashkent, they will once again take tests for coronavirus, reports the Tajik Football Federation.
The team’s head coach Usmon Toshev took 23 players. Khujand striker Dilshod Bozorov, who was injured at one of the team’s trainings, left for his club. Bunyodkor defender Davronjon Ergashev will join the team in Tashkent.
The match between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will be held on September 3 at the Tashkent Lokomotiv stadium at 19:00 local time.
