Istiklol FC Is Now the Nine-Time Winner of Tajikistan’s Football Championship

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Istiklol FC has officially become the champion of Tajikistan three rounds before the end of the 2020 season.
This is the ninth league title in Istiklol’s club history.
Previously, Istiklol won the championship in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
In the sixteenth round Istiklol on the way played tied against with the score of 1-1.
In another match, Kuktosh won a strong-willed victory over Khujand with the score of 2-1.
Three rounds before the championship’s end, Istiklol is 12 points ahead of Khujand, which takes second place. Khatlon with 24 points ranks third place.
The matches of the next round will be played on September 26 and September 27.
