DUSHANBE, 10.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The draft Law On Introducing Amendments to the Law On Additional Education and the draft Monetary Policy Strategy of Tajikistan for 2021 and the medium term were discussed yesterday at a meeting of the Council of the Representative Assembly. The meeting was chaired by its Speaker Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, reported the Spokesperson for the Representative Assembly Muhammadato Sultonov.

It was emphasized that the draft Law On Introducing Amendments to the Law On Additional Education is aimed at bringing it in line with the Constitution and laws On Education, On Normative Legal Acts and On the State Language.

“It is necessary to improve this law with new norms and thus regulate the relationship between the competence and responsibility of institutions of additional education, reforming legal concepts and terms, taking into account the law-making, legal logical technique,” said Sultonov.

During the discussion of the draft Monetary Policy Strategy for 2021 and the medium term, it was noted that the strategy was developed in accordance with Articles 4 and 14 of the Law On the National Bank of Tajikistan and determines the monetary policy of the state for 2021.

This prospect, first of all, is aimed at achieving the main goal of the National Bank of Tajikistan, which is maintaining a stable level of domestic prices in the long term with the help of mechanisms and instruments of monetary policy.
