DUSHANBE, 23.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs Abdullo Rahmonzoda presented the Chairman of the Cyclists Federation Ozodkhon Davlatshoev with their accreditation.

As part of accreditation of this federation, the two parties signed an agreement on cooperation and interaction in the implementation of state policy in the spheres of physical culture and sports in Tajikistan.

Davlatshoev shared the achievements of the Cyclists Federation for 2020 and plans for 2021.

The federation plans to train national team athletes, coaches and judges to improve their qualifications.

According to Rahmonzoda, sport in Tajikistan is one of the priorities of social policy. “Nowadays, it is important to develop sports more than ever, because it improves physical endurance and strengthens the immune system, which is very important during a pandemic,” he said.

Rahmonzoda and Davlatshoev also discussed the prospects for the development of cycling, the opening of cycling sections in the regions, the development of mountain cycling, and the creation of infrastructure.
