Central Asia and Afghanistan Deputy FMs Discuss Joint Fight Against Security Threats and Challenges

DUSHANBE, 11.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda participated in the 10th meeting of Deputy FMs of Central Asia and Afghanistan, which was organized by the Kazakh government and the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA).
The parties exchanged views on the experience of wide and effective cooperation of the region’s countries, including within the framework of the UNRCCA, as well as relevant and priority areas of joint actions aimed at strengthening security and sustainable development in Central Asia.
In his speech, Huseinzoda expressed his views on the importance of joining forces against security threats and challenges, including terrorism, extremism, radicalization, and briefed the participants on achievements of Tajikistan in strengthening the dialogue aimed at finding an effective solution to eliminate these threats.
