Number of Individual Entrepreneurs Increased by 5.8%

DUSHANBE, 20.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Over last three months the number of individual entrepreneurs has increased by 31,000, or 5.8%, including by 4,200 — individual entrepreneurs working according to the certificate, by 20,600 — individual entrepreneurs working under a patent, and 8,300 –farmers, reports the Agency for Statistics.
As of April 1, a total of 603,300 individual entrepreneurs were registered, of which 83,800 individual entrepreneurs working under a certificate, 345,000 individual entrepreneurs working under a patent, and 174,500 farmers.
Almost 10,500 new individual entrepreneurs have been registered so far this year, including 1,416 individual entrepreneurs working on a certificate, 6,329 individual entrepreneurs working on a patent, and 2,751 farmers.
Meanwhile, out of the total number of registered individual entrepreneurs this year, 6,551 individual entrepreneurs ceased their activities.
The number of operating individual entrepreneurs as of April 1 is 307,900.
