Women Football Team Will Play Against Vietnam, Maldives and Afghanistan at the 2022 Asian Cup Qualifiers
DUSHANBE, 25.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – According to the results of the draw for the 2022 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Tajik women’s national football team ended up in Group B, where they will play against Vietnam, Maldives and Afghanistan.
The qualifying round will take place from September 13 through September 25 in Dushanbe.
The draw for the 2022 Women Asian Cup qualifiers was held at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur on June 24. The qualifying round will be attended by 28 teams, which have been divided into eight groups. Group B matches will be held at the Dushanbe Central Republican Stadium.
The final part of the 2022 Asian Cup, which will take place from January 20 through February 6 in India, will feature the winners of eight qualifying groups. The top three teams of the last 2018 Asia Cup — Japan, Australia and China — have been exempted from qualifiers to qualify directly for the 2022 Asian Cup.
