Tajikistan and UN Discuss Peacekeeping Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 06.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 2, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan Jonibek Hikmat held a virtual meeting with the Assistant of UN Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions Alexandre Zouev.
The parties discussed the current issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN in peacekeeping.
They also exchanged views on possibility of increase of Tajik police officers in UN peacekeeping operations.
