Women U-17 Team Beat Afghanistan at the CAFA Championship 2021

DUSHANBE, 06.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The women U-17 team of Tajikistan beat Afghanistan with the score of 5-2 at the second round of the championship of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), which is being held in Dushanbe.
A hat-trick was made by Rukhshona Fayzulloeva. Other goals for country’s team were scored by Jonona Nazarova and Munisa Gulova.
In another match, Uzbekistan defeated Iran with the score of 2-0.
Following the results of two played rounds, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with 4 points each lead the standings. The Iran with 3 points is in third place.
The winner of the CAFA Women U-17 Championship will be determined on Wednesday, when the matches of the final round will be played. In the third round, Uzbekistan will play against Afghanistan at the Dushanbe Central Republican Stadium at 18:00, and Tajikistan will meet with Iran at 20:45.
