Participation of the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan in Interactive Panel Discussion on Situation in Afghanistan

DUSHANBE, 06.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On 3 September 2021, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Jonibek Hikmat attended in the interactive panel discussion on the situation in Afghanistan with focus on the impact on Afghan women and girls, minority groups and human rights monitoring and reprisals.
The event was organized by the permanent missions of Canada and the United Kingdom to the United Nations.
In his speech, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN expressed the position of Tajikistan concerning the situation in Afghanistan and emphasized the need for the formation of inclusive government where the interests of all ethnic minority groups will be represented.
