Tajikistan’s Tourism Potential Will Be Presented at the JATA Tourism Expo Japan 2022

DUSHANBE, 24.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The tourism potential of Tajikistan will be presented at the JATA Tourism Expo Japan 2022, which will be held in September-November of this year in Tokyo. These and other issues related to the expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan in the field of tourism were discussed by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Tojiddin Jurazoda with the Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan Toshihiro Aiki and a representative of JICA.
The parties exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations in the field of tourism and attraction of investments in this area. It was noted that the development of tourism infrastructure plays an important role in attracting more tourists.
The meeting also focused on issues related to the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism.
Aikiro expressed his country’s interest in strengthening cooperation in the development of various areas of tourism, the training of Tajik specialists in the field of tourism management, development of information technologies, and entrepreneurship.
