Khorug Will Host Fifteenth International Cultural and Tourism Festival

DUSHANBE, 11.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – From August 19 through August 21, the Fifteenth International Cultural and Tourism Festival entitled Roof of the World will be held in the Central Park of Khorug of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
This year, 100 musicians from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, India, France, Austria and the Netherlands will perform at the festival.
The aim of the festival is to display the beauty of cultural diversity (Central Asia and the world at large) and to expand mutual understanding through the expression of various art forms and diverse cultural traditions.
Professional artists will organize a series of classes to improve skills for students, musicians, art historians, domestic and foreign lovers of musical art.
During the festival, participants will be presented with handicraft exhibitions, national dishes and documentaries.
