Delegation of the Surkhandarya Region of Uzbekistan Arrives in Khatlon

DUSHANBE, 12.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the delegation of the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan led by the Chairman of the region Tura Bobolov arrived in the Khatlon region of Tajikistan.
The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Khatlon and Surkhandarya regions.
The delegation will visit industrial enterprises of the region, modern greenhouses, tourist sites, historical monuments, places for pilgrimage and agricultural fields.
Tomorrow, the Dangara district will host a Forum for the Development of Cooperation between Khatlon and Surkhandarya regions, where investment opportunities and export potential of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be presented.
