Akmaliddin Karimov Wins Gold at the International Tournament in Russia

DUSHANBE, 12.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik wrestler Akmaliddin Karimov won a gold medal in the weight of 58 kg at the international tournament Cup for the Founders of Sambo, which took place from September 10 through September 11 in Moscow.
Tajikistan’s team consisted of eleven athletes.
Karimov defeated the Russian sambist Kharun Tlishev in the final and received the gold.
In the team standings, the Tajik team took second place after Russia, which won in six other weight categories.
