Tajik Embassy in Russia Urges Compatriots to Pay Attention Only to Official Information

DUSHANBE, 04.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia called on compatriots not to believe false and unfounded information about the draft of foreign citizens to the Russian military service.
«Our citizens should not believe false and unfounded information spread by individuals and provocative groups on social networks regarding the draft of foreign citizens to military service in the Russian Federation, including labor migrants from the Republic of Tajikistan. Pay attention only to official information,» the Embassy said.
The Russian Embassy in Dushanbe also called the news about the invitation of immigrants to military service fake.
“The news about the call for military service of migrant laborers from the countries of Central Asia to Russia are fake and are aimed at disrupting Moscow’s relations with other countries,» according to published statement by the Russian Embassy in Tajikistan.
«Information about the invitation of foreign citizens to serve in the Russian military, including labor migrants from the countries of Central Asia [for example, fake orders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia] are fabrications,» the statement read. «Those who spread such false messages aim to darken our relations with other countries,» the diplomatic mission said.
