Tajik Boxer Usmonov Passes to the Second Round of the Asian Boxing Championship

DUSHANBE, 02.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik boxer Bahodur Usmonov made it to the second round on the first day of the Asian Boxing Championship in Amman, Jordan.
Usmonov ‘s opponent Nodir Badron from Kuwait did not show up for the fight. As a result of the forfeiting, Usmanov will continue the fight in the next round.
His opponent in the 1/8 finals is a Thai boxer Somchai Wongsuwan.
Another Tajik representative Shabbos Nematulloev in the weight category up to 80 kg was defeated during the first day of the championship.
He wrestled with the representative of India — Lakshua Chahar, as a result, the Indian boxer won.
The championship will run until November 12.
