Issues Related to Climate Change Discussed at the Tajikistan’s Pavilion in Egypt

DUSHANBE, 21.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Integrated natural resource management for achieving sustainable adaptation to the impacts of climate change discussed at the side event «Integrated Land and Water Management for Ecosystem-Based Adaptation to the Impacts of Climate Change» in Sharm El Sheikh.
The event was organized by the Committee for Environmental Protection in collaboration with the UNDP in Tajikistan in the national pavilion, created in the framework of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Representatives from various agencies, the Adaptation Fund, and UNDP shared experiences, best practices and solutions to accelerate climate change adaptation and mitigation to accelerate sustainable development.
Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection Abdullo Kurbonzoda, and Deputy Head of the Center for the Implementation of Investment Projects of the Committee Turakul Murodov in their speeches noted the importance of integrated management of natural resources to achieve sustainable adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
