Tajik Film “Dov” Claims the UNESCO Gandhi Medal

DUSHANBE, 24.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik film «Dov” (Fortuna), along with the films from Bangladesh, Bulgaria, India, Iran, Brazil and Canada, claims the UNESCO Gandhi Medal at the 53rd International Film Festival in India, reports the film’s director Muhiddin Musaffar.
The festival is being held from November 20 through November 28 in Goa. This festival is one of the largest in Asia and will feature 187 films from 89 countries. Over 25 of these films will be nominated for an Oscar.
According to the film actor Abdumumin Sharifi, the film tells the story of two friends who give up their careers to earn a living while looking for another way to make money.
“Also, the characters of the film disperse to fulfill their dreams and save the child from the disease,” said Sharifi.
