Delegation of Tajikistan Football Federation Attends the AFC Congress in Bahrain

DUSHANBE, 02.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the leadership of Tajikistan Football Federation consisting of the First Vice-President Khurshed Mirzo, Secretary General Furkat Ahmedjanov and Head of the International Department Davlatmand Islomov, took part in the 33rd Congress of the Asian Football Confederation in Manama.
The AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa was re-elected for a new four-year term.
Concurrently, Al Khalifa became the FIFA Vice-President from Asia.
The Congress agenda also included the election of AFC Vice-Presidents, as well as members of the AFC Executive Committee and the FIFA Council.
Additionally, Saudi Arabia has been approved as the venue for the 2027 Asian Cup final. Saudi Arabia for the first time in its history will host the main football tournament of the Asian continent.
