DUSHANBE, 13.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) — Tajik athletes won a bronze medal at the Asian Athletics Indoor Championships in the 4 × 400 meters relay.

The competition was held on February 10-12 in Astana and was attended by more than 500 athletes from 31 countries.

Tajikistan was represented by Ildar Akhmadiev, Favoris Muzrapov, Leonid Pronzhenko, Alexander Pronzhenko, Muhammadrizo Mirzozoda, Mirsaid Mirzozoda.

Tajik athletes took part in running competitions at a distance of 60 m, 400 m, 800 m, in the heptathlon and 4×400 m relay, taking third place only in the relay.

It should be noted that this is the first medal of Tajik athletes at the Asian Indoor Championships.
