Tajik Team Loses Kuwait in a Friendly Match

DUSHANBE, 29.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The national football team of Tajikistan lost to Kuwait in a friendly match.
The match was held on March 28 at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City and ended with the score of 2-1.
After this loss, Tajik team’s unbeaten streak, which lasted for seven matches since June last year, was interrupted.
It was the second friendly match of the Tajik team in the FIFA days in March. In the first match on March 25, Tajikistan in Abu Dhabi played a draw with the UAE team (0:0).
The next time the national team of the country will meet in May, when they begin preparations for the first-ever championship of the Central Asian Football Association.
The 2023 CAFA championship is scheduled from June 9 through June 20.
