Temur Rahimov Retains His Position in First Place in the World Judo Ranking

DUSHANBE, 16.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The International Judo Federation, after summing up the results of the World Championship, updated the World and Olympic Ranking.
According to the new ranking, Tajik athlete Temur Rahimov retained the first place in the +100 kg category. Rahimov, who took fifth place at the Doha World Championships, scored 720 points, and his total points reached 6050.
The position of Komronshoh Ustopiriyon (-90kg) on the 16th place, and Somon Mahmadbekov (-81kg) on the 32nd place has not changed. Jahongir Majidov (-90kg) moved up 20 positions, Shahboz Saidabrorov (-66kg) — 15 positions, Shodmon Rizoev (-81kg) — 11 positions, Abubakr Akobir (-100kg) — 11 positions, Behruz Khojazoda (-73kg) — 3 positions, and Emomali Nurali (-66kg) — 2 positions.
In the Olympic ranking, Rahimov took second place in +100 kg weight, Emomali Nurali — 11th in weight up to 66 kg, Komronshoh Ustopiriyon — 22nd place in weight up to 90 kg and Somon Mahmadbekov — 34th place in weight up to 81 kg.
