DUSHANBE, 16.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 15, the Minister of Agriculture Kurbon Hakimzoda met with the Regional Director of the Near East, North Africa and Europe Division of the International Fund for Agricultural Dina Saleh and the Country Director of the International Fund for Agricultural Development in Tajikistan Roberto Longo.
The meeting focused on expanding cooperation and implementing industry projects.
It was provided information on the development of the agricultural sector in Tajikistan, depending on the current level of cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the further implementation of the Support to Agriculture project.
It was emphasized that the ongoing project is aimed at improving agriculture and its further development in Tajikistan.
The Support to Agriculture project is currently being successfully implemented on the basis of society, a little earlier, a new Project on the basis of society for 2023-2030 was approved by the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan, the total amount of which is $100,000,000.
The Ministry of Agriculture, the Committee for Environmental Protection, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations are project as partners in its effective implementation.
