Six Tajik Judokas Will Take Part in the Hungary Masters-2023

DUSHANBE, 10.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Six Tajik Judokas will take part in the Hungary Masters-2023, which will be held from August 4 through 6 in Budapest.
According to the regulations, athletes who take up to 38th place in the world judo ranking take part in the tournament.
Tajikistan will be represented by Emomali Nurali (in weight -60 kg), Obid Jebov (-66 kg), Behruz Khojazoda (-73 kg), Somon Mahmadbekov (-81 kg), Komronshoh Ustopiriyon (-90 kg) and Temur Rahimov (+100 kg).
The total prize fund is €196,000. Winners in all 14 weight categories will receive prizes of €6,000, winners of a silver medal — €4,000 and a bronze medal — €2,000.
Athletes will also receive points for improving their position in the Olympic and world rankings. In particular, the winners of first place will receive 1800 points, second place winners — 1260 points, and third place winners — 900 points.
