Dushanbe to Host Central Asian Badminton Championship

DUSHANBE, 11.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From July 31 through August 4, Dushanbe will host the Central Asian badminton championship.
The tournament belongs to the rating category, which affects the position of the country in the world ranking. Tajik team included 6 juniors and 6 girls — a total of 12 people.
Before the championship, Dushanbe will host the training camps for Tajik, Uzbek and Kyrgyz teams.
As part of this tournament, a special training course will also be organized for 36 judges from Central Asian countries.
Last summer Dushanbe already hosted the Central Asian Championship, which ended with the victory of the Iranian team (it won 8 gold medals out of 10 possible, by one gold medal went to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan).
