Eco-Journalists of Tajikistan Visit Rogun HPP

DUSHANBE, 04.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – In honor of the 32nd anniversary of State Independence, an excursion to the Rogun hydroelectric power plant was organized for eco-journalists of Tajikistan.
The construction sites were presented to the journalists.
After getting acquainted with the achievements of this great construction, a meeting of the members of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan was held in Rogun. It was also provided information on the topic “The importance of water bodies in the development of a green economy and the production of clean energy.”
Reconstruction and revival of the Rogun HPP became one of the fateful decisions taken by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. It is considered the largest and most important hydropower facility in Tajikistan, which will allow irrigating hundreds of hectares of land in the region.
