Istiklol Starts the AFC Champions League with a Draw Against Al Duhail

DUSHANBE, 20.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The champion of Tajikistan Istiklol FC tied against the Qatari champion Al Duhail at the start of the group stage of the 2023/24 AFC Champions League in Group E.
The match took place on September 19, at the Dushanbe Central Republican Stadium and ended with the score of 0-0.
In the second round, Istiklol will play against the Al-Nasr club from Saudi Arabia, which beat the Iranian Persepolis with the score of 2-0 away in the first round. The Al-Nasr — Istiklol match will take place on October 2 at the Al-Awwal Stadium in Riyadh at 21:00 local time (23:00 Dushanbe time).
