Prime Minister of Tajikistan Meets the World Bank Delegation

DUSHANBE, 22.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 21, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with a delegation of the World Bank led by Regional Director for Central Asia Tatyana Proskuryakova.
It was expressed satisfaction with the implementation of joint projects in recent years.
The visit of the World Bank delegation to Tajikistan was considered important for strengthening cooperation in the future.
Currently, within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of various projects continues, and interest has been expressed in establishing connections within the framework of the implementation of new projects in the field of energy.
The development of relations between the Government of Tajikistan and the World Bank, as well as the implementation of new regional projects within the framework of the “green energy” program in the context of climate change was assessed in the interests of the world community.
Relations between the Government of Tajikistan and the World Bank are aimed at the socio-economic development of the country.
