Nine Athletes Will Represent Tajikistan at the Grand Prix Portugal 2024

DUSHANBE, 26.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – From January 26 through January 28, the Grand Prix Portugal 2024 will take place in Odivelas.
Tajikistan sent 9 athletes, including Muhammadsoleh Kuvvatov (in weight -60 kg), Mehrzod Sufiev (in weight -60 kg), Muhammadsharif Najmuddinov (in weight -73 kg), Muhammadjon Abdujalilzoda (in weight -81 kg), Umed Rajabov (in weight -90 kg), Komronshoh Ustopirien (in weight -90 kg), Abubakri Akobir and Emomrizo Anvarzoda (both in weight -100 kg) and Akhliya Muminova (in weight -kg).
A total of 624 athletes, including 344 men and 280 women from 90 countries are registered to participate in the tournament.
The winners and runners-up will be awarded cash prizes along with medals. The winners will be awarded €3,000, silver medal holders will receive €2,000 and bronze medal holders will get €1,000.
Additionally, athletes will gain points and improve their positions in the Olympic rankings.
