SPECA Countries Adopt the Dushanbe Declaration

DUSHANBE, 29.11.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The countries of the United Nations Special Economic Program for Central Asia and Azerbaijan adopted the Dushanbe Declaration aimed at cooperation in national and regional policies.
The document, signed at the SPECA-2024 Economic Forum, which was held on November 26-28 in Dushanbe, reflects the joint priorities of the SPECA member countries, including promoting the digitalization of trade and strengthening the energy system.
Decisions were made to strengthen further cooperation and implement joint initiatives and goals of the SPECA countries in various fields.
SPECA (United Nations Special Economic Program for Central Asia and Azerbaijan) was created in 1998 on the initiative of the UN.
The main goal is to promote economic development and strengthen regional cooperation.
