Tajik U-17 Football Team Gets in Basket 2 for 2025 Asian Cup Draw

DUSHANBE, 21.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the draw procedure and the composition of the draw baskets for the 2025 Asian U-17 Cup.
The draw will take place on January 23 at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur at 12:00 Dushanbe time.
Tajik U-17 team is seeded in Basket 2 for the draw along with Australia, Yemen and Uzbekistan, with whom it will definitely not play in the same group at the 2025 Asian Cup.
When distributing teams into baskets, the AFC took into account the results of the last three Asian Youth Cups (India, 2016, Malaysia, 2018 and Thailand, 2023).
It should be noted that the 2025 Asian Г-17 Cup will be held from April 3 through April 20 in Saudi Arabia.
Teams that reach the quarterfinals will advance to the 2025 World Cup in Qatar.
