Discussion of the Issue of Opening Direct Flights on Dushanbe — Abu Dhabi and Dushanbe — Sharjah

DUSHANBE, 13.02.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The issue of opening direct flights on Dushanbe — Abu Dhabi and Dushanbe – Sharjah routes was discussed at a meeting between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzoda and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of the United Arab Emirates Saif Muhammad Alsuwaidi, reports the Civil Aviation Agency.
The parties also discussed the issue of opening cargo flights between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Global Implementation Support Symposium in Abu Dhabi.
Also, as part of Global Implementation Support Symposium, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency met with the General Director of Air Arabia and the Regional Director of Wizz Air.
The parties exchanged views on the opening of new routes, as well as attracting foreign investment in the civil aviation sector of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that the meetings with the heads of airlines of Arab countries were held with the aim of further promoting the development of the country’s civil aviation industry.
