Rustam Emomali Departs for New York to Attend World Football Day Celebrations

DUSHANBE, 20.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Rustam Emomali, President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, President of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), Speaker of the National Assembly, and Mayor of Dushanbe, departed today for New York on an official visit.
During the visit, Rustam Emomali is scheduled to take part in the World Football Day celebrations at the United Nations General Assembly.
Notably, the observance of World Football Day on May 25 was established by a UN General Assembly resolution adopted on May 7, 2024, following an initiative led by Rustam Emomali.
