Rustam Emomali Arrives in New York to Attend UN Celebration of World Football Day

DUSHANBE, 21.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Speaker of the National Assembly (Upper House of the Parliament), Mayor of Dushanbe, President of the Tajikistan Football Federation, and President of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), Honorable Rustam Emomali arrived in New York on May 20 for a working visit.
During his visit, Rustam Emomali is scheduled to take part in a high-level meeting at the United Nations General Assembly dedicated to the first-ever celebration of World Football Day. He is also expected to deliver remarks at the event.
In addition to participating in the UN meeting, Rustam Emomali will hold a series of bilateral meetings with international partners on the sidelines of the celebration.
The World Football Day, recognized by the United Nations, highlights the global role of football in promoting peace, development, and international cooperation.
