DUSHANBE, 22.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 22, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received for conversation the personnel appointed to leadership and command positions in the military and power structures.

By decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, qualified, young and experienced personnel in these fields were appointed to the positions of Director of the State Institution «National Center for Mine Action of Tajikistan», First Deputy and Deputy Director of the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chief of Staff of the Drug Control Agency, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Religion and Regulation of Celebrations and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and First Deputy Head of the Main Department for the Execution of Criminal Punishments of the Ministry of Justice.

In agreement with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, experienced personnel from these areas were also appointed to the positions of commanders of military units, military commissars in a number of cities and districts and other structures of the Ministry of Defense, the leadership of several departments of the central apparatus of the State Committee for National Security and its departments and divisions in several cities and districts, heads of various departments and divisions of the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of departments and divisions of the State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption Agency, and heads of correctional institutions of the Main Department of Criminal Punishment of the Ministry of Justice in the cities of Dushanbe and Khujand and Yovon district.

During the conversation, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, advised them to serve the people and the state of Tajikistan honestly and faithfully, to treat people well, to prevent corruption, to properly organize the fight against crime, especially organized crime, including drug trafficking, to eliminate the conditions conducive to crime, to educate young personnel in a spirit of patriotism and self-awareness and with high professionalism, and in general to be fully prepared to protect the country’s borders, security, and stability. It was emphasized that when performing official duties and working with citizens, the interests of the state and the people of the country should always come first.
